To place characters on the canvas:

• Drag and Drop: Click on any character from the character list and drag it onto the canvas. The character will snap to the nearest grid point on the canvas.

• Selecting Text: Click on a text element on the canvas to select it. The selected text will be highlighted. You can now rotate and resize it
• Moving Text: With the text selected, use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the text up, down, left, or right. Each key press will move the text by a set increment.

3. Deleting Text

To delete text from the canvas:

• Deleting: Select the text you wish to delete and press the 'Delete' or 'Backspace' key on your keyboard. This will remove the text from the canvas.

To add your own text to the canvas:

• Inputting Text: CLick the keyboard icon to insert text input box. Double-click inserted text to edit

5. Searching and Filtering Characters

To search and filter characters on the canvas:

• Search Field: Use the search field to filter characters alphabetically. Type any character or keyword into the search box to narrow down the list to relevant symbols.
• Dropdown A,B,C: Use the dropdown menu to filter characters based on Gardiner's hieroglyphic categories. Select a category to view only the characters that fall under it.

7. Saving and Loading Workspaces

To save your current workspace:

• Save Workspace: Click the 'Save' button to download a snapshot of your current workspace, including all characters and texts positioned on the canvas. This creates a JSON file that can be saved to your computer.

To load a previously saved workspace:

• Load Workspace: Click the 'Load' button and select the JSON file you previously saved. This will restore all the texts and characters to their positions as they were at the time of saving.

• Quick Save: Right-click on the canvas to copy or save it to file.

• Undo Changes: You can undo your last action by pressing 'Ctrl+Z'. This is helpful for reversing unintended changes.
• Zooming: Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of the canvas area, allowing for finer control over text placement and editing.
• Shortcuts: Type r too reverse one or multiple glyph on the canvas. h,t,b,r,l for alignments, Shft+b to delete background
• Tools: Use Cartouche, Line, Text, or Arrow buttons to insert elements on the canvas
• Tools: Ctrl_b removes inserted background
